About Us

Creating Meaningful Connections Through Equine Therapy

Stable Mind Equine Assisted Therapy is a volunteer-run charity dedicated to supporting emotional, physical, and social well-being through equine-assisted interactions.

Founded in 2021 by ex-Special Forces veteran Jock Lindsay, who has personally experienced the benefits of working with horses, our organisation provides a safe and welcoming space for individuals, families, and community groups. Our therapy animals—including Clydesdales, a retired racehorse, and therapy donkeys—help people of all ages and abilities build confidence, reduce stress, and experience the calming presence of horses.

With both site-based and mobile services, we ensure that equine-assisted therapy is accessible to those who need it most. Whether at our Burrum Heads location or at a suitable facility, we create opportunities for connection and healing, empowering individuals through the unique bond between humans and horses.
